Emergency crews venting leftover gases at Scully's
COLLINGDALE - County emergency services were called back to the site of Wednesday's propane inferno on Thursday afternoon to hose down some remaining hot spots and flre-ups. Thursday evening, officials decided to vent some remaining flammable gases and burn them off into the atmosphere.

Emergency Services Day in Mahoning
The Mahoning Valley Lions Club held its first "Emergency Services Day" on Saturday. Participating were the Mahoning Valley Fire Company, Mahoning Valley Ambulance, Mahoning Township Police Department, Carbon County Sheriff Dwight Nothstein, and the PennSTAR life flight helicopter.
